Hey there,

This "about me" section was previously written by artificial intelligence. And as an artist, that just didn't sit right with me. So here's a little about me, written by me, so that you can know who you're trusting with your most precious moments.

I've been exploring photography as a medium for quite a while now. Frankly, I don't really remember when I first started. In the beginning, I didn't view it as a hobby; rather it was a way to "document my life" as many people like to say. As cliche as it sounds, something about etching into eternity the fleeting moments of our everyday, no matter how mundane, was and is so beautiful to me (so thank you for considering me!).

In my time at university, my friends would ask me to take their graduation portraits. Then their friends would ask me. And then their friends' friends would find me, too. As the years went by, I kind of had a small business in the works without fully realizing it. In 2025, I quit my job to pursue this full time. And with a mountain of student loan debt on my shoulders, it was kind of scary and kind of exciting. honestly, I'm still pretty scared now, but the excitement keeps me going.

Something that I like to think what sets me apart from other photographers is that I view photography as not only a useful (and expensive) skill but also as a vessel for transcending time. Maybe I’m getting a little pretentious here, but bear with me. I believe your photographs should make you feel something when you view them, that some sense of nostalgia fills every crevice of your heart. When you look at my work, hopefully something like that speaks out to you. I try to bring those emotions to the photographs. The joys, the laughs, the butterflies, the nerves, the naivety, and the beauty of our ephemeral moments.

And another often overlooked aspect of photography is the relationship between photographer and subject. When you’re commemorating something so special such as a wedding or an elopement, you’d want to feel just as special as the moment you’re immortalizing. You want to look good, of course. A “baddie” as the kids say these days. But I also recognize being in front of a camera is really awkward. Even though I’m always behind the lens, I kind of melt whenever someone else points one at me; so I get it. The photo shoot experience matters, and I will try my absolute best to create a safe space for you to feel your best. I’m not just some vendor or service but also your friend. Again, the joys, the laughs, the butterflies are so, so special, and I wouldn’t want to detract from that.

Anyways, if what you just read vibes with you, I'm excited to see what we can do together. Thank you for getting this far :)
